Q1 2018 Update

Q1 2018 passed by very quickly. I hope you had increase your gains compared to Q1 2017. I want to share with you my portfolio activity and dividend gains for Q1 2018. I have only started building my TFSA portfolio this January 2018. So here is my current TFSA portfolio as of April 4,2018.

I bought CJR.B.TO 120 shares for $8.27 and sold at a loss at $6.02. I gained 2 months dividend of (2x11.40) = $22.80. My total loss is -$247.2 including commission and the dividend gain.

I sold BDI.TO at $3.00 which I bought at various price averaging at $2.52 each. This gave me a gain of $409.44 less the commission.

The total dividend I received this last quarter is $80.06, far from my long term target of $1000 per month ($3k/qtr.).
